Drazine Tab. is an antihistamine formulation which is prescribed for treatment of various allergic conditions and to provide symptomatic relief from anxiety, psychoneurosis, and chronic urticaria. It has been formulated using hydroxyzine hydrochloride as active chemical compound with chemical formula C21H28Cl2N2O2 and protein binding ability of 93%. Drazine Tab. gets rapidly absorbed in body after oral administration and metabolized in liver. It is known to have elimination half life of about 20 hours in adults and eliminated in urine & feces. This tablet belongs to class of first generation antihistamine and is also effective in treatment of itching & hyperalgesia.
