About ENTRACID L Capsule

Entracid-L Cap is specifically formulated to prevent formation of excess amount of acid in stomach. It leads to stomach ulcers, GERD, heartburn, and indigestion problems. This capsule is also effective in healing of erosive esophagitis and treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is known to work by binding to H+/K+ ATPase pump and inhibit final step of gastric acid production. Belongs to drug class of proton pump inhibitors, Entracid-L Cap gets readily absorbed in parietal cells of stomach and covalently binds to acid producing pump. Its metabolism takes place in liver by enzymes CYP2C19 & CYP3A4.

Levosulpiride (75 Mg)

Uses:

Levosulpiride is used in the treatment of psychosis, depression, frequent persistent heart burn, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, indigestion (dyspepsia).

How it works :

Levosulpride belongs to a class of medications called atypical antipsychotic agent. It acts by inhibiting the receptor (D2 and D3) found in the brain and subsequently decreasing the level of chemical compound (dopamine) present in the brain.

Pantoprazole(40 Mg)

Uses:

Pantoprazole is used for treating symptoms of gastro-esophageal reflux disease (heartburn, back flow of acid from stomach, difficulty in swallowing), inflammation of esophagus, excess acid secretion by stomach (Zollinger-Ellison syndrome), in prevention of intestinal or stomach ulcers in patients caused by prolonged pain killer use.

How it works?:

Pantoprazole belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors. It acts by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach.
