About ZOSARTAN-H Tab.

Zosartan-H Tab. is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist which is prescribed for treatment of hypertension and high blood pressure. It comprises telmisartan with chemical formula C33H30N4O2 & molar mass 514.617 g/mol and hydrochlorothiazide as active compounds. This medicine works by relaxing blood vessels by blocking activity of angiotensin hormone. This activity of Zosartan-H Tab. results in smooth flow of blood with efficient pumping to heart. It can have bioavailability of up to 100% with excellent protein binding ability of more than 99.5%. After metabolism in liver, this medicine gets eliminated in feces with elimination half life of around 24 hours.
