Zanlodi-AT Tab. is a combination of two drugs including amlodepine and atenolol which belongs to beta blocker class of drugs. It is prescribed for treatment of high blood pressure, coronary heart diseases, and angina. This medicine is known to work by blocking calcium channels and inhibiting movement of Ca++ in smooth & cardiac muscle cells. It also has ability to reduce myocardial oxygen demand in order to relieve stable angina. Zanlodi-AT Tab. has targeted mode of action and provides long term benefits if consumed under prescription. It also belongs to selective beta 1 receptor antagonist drug class with bio-availability range of 40% to 90%. It gets metabolized in liver with protein binding ability of up to 93%.
